In order to effectively use information techniques in traffic management,the application of intelligent decision support system (IDSS) in traffic incident management was discussed.The basic concept of IDSS was introduced,and the feasibility of the IDSS in traffic incident management was discussed.The model base,data base,knowledge base and interactive system were discussed.
