This article has elaborated the aim of developing the shortest-path analysis system for environment emergency monitoring.Based on the development way and structure of the ArcGIS Server system,the article studied on the expansion development of GIS Service End under NET situation with the model of urban road transportation network,and realized the function of analyzing the shortest-path for environment emergency monitoring.For introducing the realization process,Nantong has been as a case.
