Performance analysis of MC-CDMA systems in the presence of frequency offset

Multi-carrier code division multiple access(MC-CDMA) combines orthogonal frequency diversion multiplexing(OFDM) and CDMA together,which is a promising candidate for the next generation communication systems.In this paper,a matrix-vector transmission model is proposed for MC-CDMA systems in the presence of frequency offset and multi-path channel.Based on the system model,the effects of frequency offset on the performance of MC-CDMA systems are studied by the computer simulations.It is shown that MC-CDMA is sensitive to frequency offset,and only the unknown frequency offset of a small value can be tolerated by a multiuser detector.
