Metrics of streaming media performance measurement for application layer

This paper introduced a set of metrics to measurement the streaming media from user's perspective.It used the existent commercial media applications and captured the application metrics influencing the streaming video quality by changing the network's environment.The results of experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of these metrics.
