Study of Statins in Treatment for Chronic Heart Failure

Statins has been widely used in decreasing cholesterol.But recent studies in laboratory and clinic showed that this drug can be used to treat chronic heart failure,which can prevent progress of chronic heart failure,improve hear function and decreasse case fatality and mutilation rate of chronic heart failure.This article reviews related clinical evidence,mechanism of action and suspending probems at present of statins in treating chronic heart failure.
