The discuss of the precision in the GPS height replacing the 4 and 5 grade leveling

The technic of GPS elevation hasn’t been fully used in surveying.This paper analyses the precision of the GPS planned(拟合) elevation and the trditional level elevation with a lot of data and my experience accumulated in many working years.These analysis provide technical reference for the theory-adding GPS measuring value to the known point to get the elevation of the unknown point.So the technic of GPS may take the place of lower grade leveling.
