An Apriori-based Algorithm of Association Rules based on Cloud Computing

The association rule,based on the degrees of support and confidence for the choice of useful rule,is one of the important means for data mining.The traditional Apriori-based algorithm of association rules due to the frequent computing k-itemsets on the database,is in large overhead.For the deficiency of Apriori-based algorithm,MapReduce software framework is improved and the Apriori-based algorithm is accordingly proposed,thus to enhance the expansibility of the apriori-based algorithm.The experiments show that the proposed algorithm could remarkably improve execution efficiency of the traditional Apriori-based algorithm.
