On the Grid Access Model for Handheld Mobile Devices

This paper proposes a hierarchical classification method for the Internet-enabled devices.All functions in a layer are also supported by all underlying layers.According to this idea,we design a hardware prototype for grid access from two neighboring layers: PDA and WAP.Finally,we explain the corresponding software developments.
