Making use the characteristics of GIS managing spatial date,appied GIS to traitional electric power management system,which can manage and process large spatial information and data,and improve performance of produce and management quality of electric prwer system.This paper,combining with design and development of Dehui Country electric power information management system,based ActiveX GIS platform-SuperMap Objects(SMO),the author designed the database and developed functional modules of the system.
