Research of database load and performance of location updating of the fully distributed location management strategies

The fully distributed location management strategies, as well as their distributed database (DDB)architectures,are quite different from traditional location management strategy and its HLR VLR structure.This paper presents a new methodology for evaluating database load and performance of location updating in different hierarchical DDB architectures,based upon the probability dense function about users′mobility pattern.
