Application of server virtualization in digital campus construction

Digital campus construction needs to build a large number of application support platform and business system,and a lot of servers in digital center,so it will face the problem of low equipment utilization,high operating costs,complexity of management and maintenance,as well as low platform reliability. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the server virtualization technology at first,then build a server virtualization platform according to a university's digital campus project plan and construction program,to describe the great advantages of the server virtualization in promoting the construction of digital campus.
