PRIMARY STUDY ON SOFTWARE ECOSYSTEMS:CONCEPTS AND LIFECYCLE MODEL

To implement the mass customization business model,software ecosystems have emerged.This paper clarifies the concept and taxonomy of software ecosystems,and presents a lifecycle model of software ecosystems.The lifecycle model includes three stages for system analysis,core platform and management framework development,and third-party solutions development respectively,can serve as a good reference for creating and managing software ecosystems.
