A Resource Adjustment Strategy in GSM Network Based on Half Rate Speech

Based on half rate speech,a novel resource adjustment strategy was presented in this paper.When the network traffic model is changed,we need to implement the dynamic adjustment strategy on the configuration of carrier wave and half rate cartier wave,the resource tradeoffbetween the speech channel and the signal channel.Simulation results show that the dynamic resource adjust- ment strategy can improve the resource utilization rate and guarantee the QoS over variable network conditions.Furthermore,the pro- posed strategy has been used in practice.
