Storage and Spatio-temporal Analysis of Forest Resources Temporal GIS Data

Based on the analysis of the research and application of temporal database,in connection with features of forest resource data,on the object oriented and relational Oracle database,basic data types and functions set were extend to achieve the effective storage of spatial-temporal data of forest resources.Space topology,temporal topology and spatial-temporal topological operations were conducted on the basic in formation such as current statns and changes forest resource data to provide perfect temporal analysis capabilities,to efficiently solve all kinds of time-related issues,to accurately describe the forest resource information,to completely reflect the evolution of forest resources,and to provide forest resource data management services and new ideas and methods for the construction of forest resources database.
