Study on Scalability based on Broadband Intelligent Network

Broadband Intelligent network could flexibly expand and increase new services,and effectively solve the current bottle-neck problems in broadband network providing multi-media service. This paper briefly describes the content and architecture of broadband intelligent network,analyzes the evaluation index of its capacity expansion,and then discusses its capacity expansion. With the simulation software of NS2 communication network,two groups of experiments on capacity are done in balance island. These experiments achieve the relations between several important indexes and indicate that the broadband intelligent network is scalable in capacity.
