Risk evaluation of debris flow for Tianshan Highway in Xinjiang

The risk estimation model of debris flows in Tianshan Highway was set up with debris flow's own dangerous degree and damage degree of highway by debris flow.The quantization of risk degree for main debris flow in Tianshan Highway was completed for the first time:for the risk value more than 0.80,it is extremely dangerous;for the risk value between 0.50~0.80,it is very dangerous;for the risk value between 0.25~0.60,it is normally dangerous;for risk value less than 0.25,it is light dangerous.Through the statistical analysis of the risk assessment,the characteristics of Tianshan Highway debris flow and the corresponding prevention and treatment measures was studied.
