Application of 3D3C Block Geometry to PSD Exploration

Cheng Zeng-qing · 2003

Compared with conventional swath geometry, three dimension three component (3D3C) block geometry, not yet applied and extended in this country, is a special geometry, which can not only ensure a more reasonable distribution of offset and azimuth together with low cost of operation but can be helpful for receiving converted wave. The paper discusses the conception and designing principle of the block geometry and its successful application to PSD exploration.
