Bottom-Up Application Layer Multicast Tree Reconstruction Algorithm

Based on the analysis of the traditional application layer multicast tree reconstruction algorithm,combined with proactive reconstruction technique,a bottom-up application layer multicast tree reconstruction algorithm is proposed.The algorithm employs a bottom-up strategy,which combines both local and global-selection strategies for backup parent node choice.Simulation results show that the algorithm has improvement in the respect of recovery delay of multicast tree,the quality of the reconstructed tree and the control overhead of tree reconstruction.
