Research on Intrusion Detection Based on Data Mining

This paper shows the type and the shortage of traditional IDS,pointing out that data mining can make up for all of these shortage. The definition of data mining,data mining process of IDS are given here.It can provide not only exception detection but also wrong action detection based on data mining IDS.These two parts can help eachother with this work,and fulfill the intrusion detection process.
