Developing Tendency of Language Resource Monitoring and Researching

Under the guidance of the National Committee of Languages,the National Centre of Language Resource Monitoring and Researching has made language monitoring for successive six years and issued annually the investigation reports and the monitoring data by Report of Present Life State of Chinese Language(second volume).Its items in language monitoring are various,concerning many languages,many fields,and many mediums and paying special attention to many lexical categories reflecting lingual dynamic changes.Language monitoring can objectively reflect real life state of language,open and utilize language resources more effectively and actively guide public feelings about language.The Characteristics of language monitoring of our country are creative in operating modes,closely related with hot social issues and continuous improvement of monitoring technology and methods.
