Overlapped Space of Power System Complex Event and Its Determination

In the traditional research of power system uncertainty issues, parameters' uncertainty is the focus. Some undecidable areas are always generated when high-dimensional events are described by the set of attributes,so it is necessay to regard undecidable areas as the key research scope of a lot of uncertainty uncertain relationships. So,to research the uncertainty relationship between power system complex event and its attributes,a concept of overlapped space of power system complex event is put forward, and its rationality has been demonstrated by the mathematic argumentation and application examples.Three methods to deternine overlapped spaces,i.e.,extremum overlapping, distribution interval truncation and spatial clustering, are given. The effectiveness of the proposed mehtod is verified by simulation results of IEEE standard 50-machine system.
