Calculating the Madelung Constant of an Ionic Crystal by Double Evjen Crystal Cells

The reason why it is impossible to obtain the Madelung constant by taking only one Evjen crystal cell of the ionic crystals except NaCl crystal has been found, and a method for calculating Madelung constant of the ionic crystals is presented.
