Design of the Monitoring Software for a Plant Based on Groupware Technique

This paper summarizes the application principle of Microsoft COM/DCOM technology and the run mechanism. Aiming at the requirement of the monitoring system for a plant, based on groupware technique the general model of monitoring software and its components is proposed. Then points out that COM/DCOM has excellent criterion, structure and characteristic. It is an effective method to develop complicated monitoring system.
