Color image retrieval based on the best match region

In order to diminish the influence of the segmentation uncertainty to retrieval results,the best match region is found for each region of query image by comparing it with the regions of each image in the database.The matching is achieved by using the integrated region feature distances.The weights for each region are adjusted according to human perception in global similarity measure.Compared with global color histogram,the method of this paper has the better retrieval,especially to the object image.
