SBY2-1 Ultrasonic Wave Gauge is a new kind of wave measurement equipment based on the principles of ultrasonic ranging and data processing of time series if sea surface height.The basis of the instrument,its system composition,the working block diagram, specification test and in situ use are described in this paper.
