Study on Channel Assignment Problem of Wireless Mesh Network

The goal of using multi-channel in multi-radio wireless mesh network is to reduce collision and interference and increase the throughput of the system.Therefore,reasonable channel assignment is a key factor of multi-channel technology in wireless mesh network.It is an effective manner to establish mathematical model of channel assignment based on graph theory and study channel assignment problem by using graph coloring theory in wireless network.Therefore,in view of the multi-radio and multi-channel (MRMC) characteristic of wireless mesh network,the basic theory,graph theory mathematical model,main constrain of channel assignment problem in wireless mesh network are introduced.Finally,the general way of solving channel assignment problem by using graph coloring theory is proposed.
