Research on Airborne Altimeter SWH Fast Retrieval Algorithm

In this paper, a significant wave height (SWH) fast r etrieval algorithm for airborne altimeter is developed using Barrrick′s scatter model of sea surface back wave. The new algorithm can save operating time great ly and is suitable for processing a large amount of data. The softwave for imple mentation of above algorithm has been developed to facilitate the real-time tra nsmission of airborne remote sensing information.
