Research on the Dynamic Calibration of PVDF Gauges Loaded with Lower Stresses

Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) is a new type of piezoelectricity material.When used for impact loading,the dynamic calibration of its piezoelectric sensitive coefficient K is a key problem.This paper discusses on adopting the improved SHPB method to calibrate the dynamic K value of PVDF gauges loaded with lower stresses.Three different electrodes of PVDF gauges are utilized and dynamical calibration is conducted.The relationship is established in this research between the dynamical sensitivity coefficient and fabrication process about PVDF gauges.
