Performance Evaluation of CELL-DYN 3700 Automated Hematology Analyzer

Objective To evaluate the performance characteristics of CELL-DYN 3700 automated hematology analyzer.Methods The evaluation was performed according to guidelines established by the International Committee for Standardization in Hematology(ICSH) and the National Committee for Clinical laboratory standardization(NCCLS) documents.Precision,carryover,linearity,and differential of white blood cell were analyzed.Results The precision and carryover were lower than the design demand,and the linearity was adequate for clinical demand.The revelation between the WBC differential results and manual cell counts was good.Conclusions The performance of CELL-DYN 3700 automated hematology analyzer is excellent and can meet clinical requirements as well.
