Content-base video retrieval has become a hot research topic for researchers all over the world.The typical structure of content-based video retrieval systems is introduced in this paper.It also analyzes the key technologies involved and the evaluation criteria of video retrieval systems.And finally,it points out the existing problems and its future development.
