This paper introduces a new interactive software tool NDBTOOL forcomputer aided design of network data bases.A specially designed requirementspecification language CMDL is incorporated in this system.Based on the entity—relationship schema submitted by DBA,logical as well as physical data base can bedesigned interactively with this tool.A C language implementation of NDBTOOL isdeveloped on Dual 83/20 macrocomputer system.
