With the rapid progress of the Internet, data became increasingly complex.Multimedia data and compound data make it hard for database management system to cope with. As a database, XML can divide complex data into several parts to adjust to the current data model. With its favorable openness, mobility and adaptability, it serves as a good database logic interface. To realize its potential, The effective storage and mapping is an essential problem be solved. The paper illustrated XML database storage mode data model and mapping technology.
