Practice of disaster management system based on GIS and RS

China is a country where there have been frequent nature disasters and have produced heavy casualties and economical losses every year.It has been an effective means to deal with disasters by constructing disaster management system,which has also brought about some good results in fact.In fact,disaster management is a large and complicated run system which involves many aspects of the matter.Based on GIS and RS,this paper proposes some principles and means for disaster management system.
