Research of Multi-thread Load Balance Technology Based on OpenMP

The paper points out the importance of parallel programmable model at the era of multi-core processor,and gives a deep discussion on researches over performance analysis,thread Synchronization and competition,and model extension for OpenMP.The paper aims at the load balance of OpenMP,and proposes a key technology to implement dynamic load balance by considering the core numbers of processor,OS thread schedule algorithm and system load variation histories.Linux is chosen as the OS and GCC with version 4.2.3 that support OpenMP is selected as the base for compiler development.By analysing and improving the source codes of GCC related to OpenMP,it is possible to implement the dynamic load balance algorithm.
