A Research Review of the Features and Neuromechanism of Athletes' Technical and Tactical Pattern Recognition

In sports,the whole technical move is in essence a complete information structure pattern,meaning that athletes' judgment on moves is nothing more than the recognition of patterns of information structure in sports.Compared with non-athletes,athletes can recognize,predict,decide and react accurately and quickly,for the reason that they have set up a specialized structure of knowledge( chunks or templates) in long-term practice and competition. By reviewing research progress on the features and neuromechanism of athletes' pattern recognition,this article intends to provide new research methods and ideas for research on pattern recognition in the field of sports,and improve theoretical models of sports cognitive psychology.
