Practice and discussion of virtual local area network division

Using the port-based virtual local area network(VLAN) dividing technology,We divided 861 online computers into 24 subnets in Nanjing General Hospital of Nanjing Military Command.In the process of VLAN dividing,a good plan,comprehensive deployment,rational organization and pre-trial can solve many problems in time,minimize the interference with the running of the hospital and ensure the success of VLAN division.After the division,the performance of the computer network is significantli upgraded,the broadcast package at the peak time was decreased from 50%-60% to 10%.This practice of VLAN division proved to be a boost to the basic construction of the hospital informationizationas well as the safety,and steady operation of the hospital local area network.
