MASSIVE-SCALE FORMATION DATA MANAGEMENT AND VISUALIZATION

The research on massive-scale geographic data was carried on for a long time. But general formation data has not been studied carefully. According to the data features of exploration and development on oil gas field, the paper proposed a way for organizing and managing massive-scale formation data, making data prepared for large scale geographic spatial modeling and real time visualization. The fast accessing, indexing and spatial computation algorithm is based on data redistribution, oct-tree indexing and technology such as predication.
