Based on Micaps system and VB6.0 programming,established operational forecast system of precipitation over medium-quantity which takes Windows 9X as operation surface,included 8 subsystems :historical data retrieval,information display,predictor,weather cases,forecast service process and model,forecast manufacture and product distribution,quality assessment,and meteorological service.Based on ECMWF numerical forecasting products,associate with the artificial intelligence expert forecasts,and MOS forecast method etc.,has developed a set of objective automatic operational forecast system of precipitation over medium-quantity in Shihezi area.
