One method for target location used in a radar system based on external illuminator and accuray analysis

An applicable passive location algorithm of target based on single fixed-site illuminator of opportunity is introduced in this paper.The azimuth angle can be acquired using digital beam formation technique and the angle measuration by comparing amplitude.Based on Time Difference of Arrival(TDOA),the distance between the target and the rader station is accessible.Finally,the accuray of location is analysed,and the computer simulation results are presented.
