Implementation of Digital Watermarking Based on Information Theory and Perceptual Characteristics

A spacial digital watermarking approach is presented based on information theory and perceptual characteristics,in which perceptual characteristics are used to adaptively set related parameters of watermarking in the image space. Considering the payload when transmitted in Gaussian Channel according to information theory, the system builds up a mapping relationship between image space and watermarking space,and achieves the trade-off between theoretic capacity,robustness and perceptual distortion.
