Application of wavelet transform on the determination of catastrophe points for abnormal heart beating

Doppler signal reflects blood flow velocity, and the number of the catastrophe chop points can be used to predict coronary heart diseases and route status of blood vessel. Through wavelet transform, the Doppler spectrum can be analyzed and number of catastrophe points can be determined. It is shown that the number of catastrophe points is useful for diagnosis of cardiac diseases.
