Development of Airborne Warning and Detection System

Airborne early warning system(AEW) is an important component of integrated electronics and information system.In this paper,functions of an airborne early warning system are briefly introduced,great challenges from low-observable targets,complicated electromagnetic and geographic environments are analyzed.Finally,development trends of foreign airborne early warning systems are presented.Analysis in this paper is some meaningful for driving domestic AEW development forward.
