APPLICATION OF WAVELET ANALYSIS IN SEISMIC DATA DENOISING

The basic principle of the wavelet transform denoising was explained in this paper.According to the spectrum analysis of the analog signal and actual seismic signal,how to select the wavelet base and threshold in denoising were discussed. Started from the wavelet decomposition,the multi-scale decomposition was used to analyze the seismic data.Based on the Matlab language and its toolbox,the denoising to seismic data was fulfilled.
