Analysis of Inharmonic Partials in the Piano Sound Spectrum

This article explains the existence of inharmonic partials (phantom partials) in piano sound spectrum. It is proved theoretically that these inharmonic partials are produced by the nonlinear combination of harmonics. Experimental data show that it is consistent with theoretical analysis.
