Shared memory is one communication mechanism that has the highest efficiency in Linux, which need synchronize processes with other mechanisms. In this paper, with integrating semaphore into shared memory, we use semaphore to control writing/reading of shared memory. Then we use it as a method of communication, successfully apply in amelioration of IPC between GUI and kernel program of FEA software with the help of C/Fortran programming technique and X-Window/Motif programming technique, not only realize synchronized shared memory, but also avoid message jam, and improve the communication efficiency.
