Running state identification system design and development for road network based on ArcGIS Engine

Based on the GPS information technology,the design goals for traffic state identification system of road network was put forwards based on ArGIS Engine,and the system overall framework,software structure and system flow were analyzed;according to the the data requirements and functional requirements of the system,the database model design and the function design were carried out using ArcGIS.Finally,according to the floating car data of main road in Zhang51dian district,the development of the basic function of the system was finished.
