Nitrogen Backup System Reliability Testing and Validation Analysis

So far till now,there is no data and description about the reliability of the nitrogen backup system's application in the domestic and overseas.In order to evaluate the safety and reliability of the nitrogen backup system,the effective shut-in capacity of the BOP was calculated and an online experiment with the BOP was carried out.The result of the experiment shows that in case of the emergency,just using the nitrogen backup system can shut in the BOP stacks and make no damage to the related systems.The experiment provides a basis for the reliability of the application of the nitrogen backup system.
