POLYNOMIAL MANIPULATION BY SPARSE VECTOR OPERATION IN A PIPELINE COMPUTER
S. Hou · Chinese Journal of Computers · 1982
The formula manipulation by a computer will eventually result in a polynomial manipulation. At present nearly all systems of polynomial manipulation are written by LISP or FORTRAN, and run on a serial computer. This paper presents a new method of polynomial munipulation, which is done in a pipeline computer by using the vector language of a sparse vector. The efficiency is thus greatly enhanced.
