Design of Perfect Reconstruction Qadrature Mirror Filter Bank Based on MATLAB

This paper analyses the theory of two-channel perfect reconstruction quadrature mirror filter banks (PR QMFB), explicates the difficulty in designing filters.It also introduces a method based on MATLAB language to design PR QMFB effectively and something about filter visualization, shows the performance of MATLAB, and receives the best parameters (filter order and passband edge) by simulation.Using this method, it reduces a lot of computation practically to design filters,can saves learners and designers' breath.
