Research and development of PLA adverse drug reaction electronic reports management system

Objective: To improve the quality and efficiency of monitoring and reevaluate the drug safety. Methods: Consider-ing the characteristics of military information system,we widely used computer technology such as network,database,information communication and data extraction. Results: We developed the PLA adverse drug reaction electronic reports management system based on intranet of PLA hospitals,which achieved the following goals: optimizing the electronic reports structure,simplifying the re-porting process,making the management easily,strengthening the information utilization and maintaining the stability of system. Conclusion: This system can achieve transmission and administration and share the information of drug safety. Meanwhile,it com-plied with the order to separate the intranet and internet.
